Edenwold Lego Mindstorms Robotics

Hey there Grade 3/4! I hear you had some fun with the Lego robots over the last couple of weeks. Do they really have names? I'd love it if you could write a little bit about what kind of stuff you did with them and maybe even something you learned while you were having so much fun! Thanks!

Pense Music TechQuest

Hi all! We hope you are all looking forward to a great afternoon of music and technology! We have three activities planned for you:
  • Rock Band Classroom Activity
  • Digital CD Cover Art
  • Guitar Hero

You'll be working at each activity for about 45 minutes. At the end of the day we'll get back together and you'll have a chance to tell us about the day and answer the questions below. Hopefully we'll have some pictures and videos that we'll be able to post as well. Have fun and see ya' later!

  1. How was this afternoon different from most school days?
  2. Did you learn anything that you didn't know before?
  3. Will you be able to use your new knowledge in the future? In what ways?
  4. Can games and "fun" activities be considered "educational"? In what ways?
  5. Who will be the 'Riders new head coach?
