1.Type in proper coordinates! Have batteries.
2.Hiking/camping.
3.If you got lost, or your batteries ran out.

1. One of the most important things about using a GPS is not to cover the antena.

2. Walking could be way more fun because you could pick places to go on your map and see what there is in that particular place.

3. When you in the forest and you get lost. You could use your GPS the find the place where you came from.
